We are seeking a QA Lead to join our Tech team. This position is predominantly remote, with plenty of opportunities to interact and collaborate with the team. You will own our approach to quality and the release quality gate - building the automation, processes, and visibility that let us ship quickly without breaking client trust, and working closely with Product and Engineering to build quality in from the start.

Strong QA and test engineering background – likely 6+ years, including experience leading QA or owning quality for a team or product.
Expert in test automation – E2E (Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium) and API testing (Postman/REST or similar), integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
Proven ability to design risk-based test strategies and strong edge-case coverage for complex, multi-step systems – not just happy-path testing.
Able to own the release quality gate: defining clear "ready for QA" and "ready for release" criteria and holding the line on release discipline.
Experience building and running a lightweight bug triage and prioritization process.
Hands-on with CI tooling (e.g., Jenkins) and making test and automation results visible to the right people.
Comfortable using production monitoring and observability (e.g., Sentry, Kibana, logs) to catch issues early and close the feedback loop.
Able to read and reason about backend APIs (REST/GraphQL) across multiple services, and comfortable debugging client–server and integration issues.
Daily use of AI-assisted tools (e.g., Claude, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT) to enhance test design, investigation, and productivity.
Strong ownership and initiative – you drive improvements and chase down issues without being asked, escalate risks early, and influence across teams to get what QA needs.
Experience working in fast-paced Agile environments and using version control tools (Git/GitHub/Bitbucket).
Experience mentoring or leading QA engineers will be a big plus.
Experience building a QA function or test-automation capability from an early stage.
Exposure to multi-currency, payments/invoicing, or supplier/third-party integrations.
Familiarity with test-case management tools (e.g., TestRail) and performance or security testing.
Experience with mobile testing.
Previous experience in a SaaS company or the travel industry is a plus.
